Position Summary
We are seeking an exceptionally talented and versatile Associate Creative Lead (Video, Photography & Social Strategy) to own our visual storytelling across all digital platforms. This role is a unique hybrid, requiring a strong Creative Director's vision, a hands-on Producer's skill, and a Social Strategist's acumen. You will be responsible for creating, directing, and executing all video and photographic content, ensuring every piece tells a compelling story that drives brand engagement and growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Creative Direction & Production Management
- Define and maintain a consistent, high-quality visual identity and narrative style across all media assets.
- Lead the content lifecycle from concept development and scripting to final delivery and distribution.
- Manage and execute pre-production logistics, including scouting, casting (if applicable), and scheduling.
- Hands-on production: Expertly shoot, light, and record high-quality video and photo content on set and in the field.
- Oversee and execute the post-production workflow (editing, color grading, sound design, graphics).
- Manage the creative budget, equipment, and assets library.
2. Storytelling & Brand Narrative
- Develop compelling, emotionally resonant short and long-form narratives that translate complex brand messages into accessible and engaging content.
- Ensure all content aligns with strategic marketing goals and upholds brand guidelines and voice.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to conceptualize campaigns and product launch visuals.
3. Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop platform-specific strategies for social channels (e.g. Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) that maximize organic reach and engagement.
- Actively stay ahead of emerging social media trends, platform updates, and content formats, quickly adapting production techniques to capitalize on new opportunities.
- Analyze content performance using platform analytics and data, iterating on creative output to optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) like views, engagement rate, and conversion.
- Manage content calendars, ensuring a steady, optimized flow of content across all channels.
Qualifications
Must-Haves
- 2-3 years of professional experience in video production, photography, or a related creative field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
- A robust portfolio demonstrating technical excellence in both video and photography, as well as clear examples of successful storytelling and social media campaigns.
- Expert proficiency with professional camera equipment, lighting, and audio recording.
- Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects (or equivalent), Photoshop, and Lightroom.
- Expert Video editing skills
- Proven experience developing and executing winning content strategies for major social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with motion graphics and animation.
- Familiarity with paid social media campaign asset creation.
- A degree or certification in Film, Photography, Media Arts, or a related field.
