Overview

We are looking for a Senior Motion Designer who lives and breathes social-first motion. This role is for someone who can translate brand stories into high-impact, scroll-stopping motion content, with a strong command of timing, transitions, and nuanced movement. You'll work on large-scale brands, creating energetic, modern motion that feels intentional, refined, and made for social platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Create social-first motion design that is eye-catching, dynamic, and platform-native across formats.
  • Develop complex transitions and sophisticated motion systems that elevate brand storytelling.
  • Apply strong motion fundamentals, including organic movement, advanced easing, velocity ramps, and precise timing.
  • Translate brand guidelines into engaging motion narratives while pushing creative boundaries.
  • Edit and enhance motion with video and audio elements to create cohesive, polished outputs.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, creatives, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality social assets.
  • Ensure all motion work aligns with social best practices, trends, and performance considerations.
  • Review, refine, and elevate motion work to maintain a high creative bar across deliverables.

Required Skills

  • Senior-level experience as a Motion Designer.
  • Proven experience creating social-first motion design for large, well-known brands.
  • Strong command of complex transitions, layered animations, and intentional motion.
  • Deep understanding of advanced easing, velocity ramps, and nuanced timing.
  • Solid knowledge of social platform best practices and how motion drives engagement.
  • Hands-on experience with video and audio editing.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates:
    • Social-first motion work for major brands
    • Complex, polished transitions
    • Captivating, intentional movement and storytelling
