About You
- Fresh graduates or those with 12 years of experience in content operations, publishing, or metadata curation are welcome.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and research skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory.
- Typing accuracy and comfort working with online tools and spreadsheets.
- UG Degree from any discipline. Preference for Computer Science, Basic Science, or Information Science backgrounds.

- Familiarity with research publishing workflows, editorial processes, or academic metadata standards.
- Previous experience in publishing, scholarly content, or database management is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying tools is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines and adapt to evolving editorial instructions.
What Will You Be Doing In This Role...
- Perform manual curation and correction of researcher profiles by validating and resolving authorship data across journals, affiliations, and publication history.
- Review, interpret, and clean bibliographic metadata (e.g., article titles, journal names, editor details, peer review history) for accuracy and completeness.
- Use SQL queries to extract, review, and analyze data from internal databases to support curation decisions and identify patterns or anomalies.
- Evaluate and validate AI-suggested authorship matches as part of a human-in-the-loop curation model, ensuring high confidence before acceptance.
- Troubleshoot and respond to profile-related customer issues using research, metadata investigation, and editorial corrections.
- Collaborate with internal platforms and dashboards to detect and resolve duplicate or incomplete profiles.
Work Conditions
- Location: Chennai (Hybrid)
- Working hours: 9 hours per day (including 1-hour break)
- Days: Monday to Friday
