You will join our Group Business Transformation - Process Excellence department
As our new Process Excellence Consultant, you will be part of a collaborative and engaged team (colleagues spread across Denmark & India locations) that thrives in a dynamic environment. You will be based in our Cybercity, Gurugram office. The Process Excellence team acts as trusted advisors to the support functions in Ramboll by enabling them to streamline their processes through lean and six sigma methodology. We collaborate and share experiences & best practices across the support functions to ensure that we grow together as one Ramboll.

Role Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Process Excellence Consultant to join our Process Excellence team. The role will focus on driving operational efficiency, improving process performance, and enabling strategic transformation initiatives across functions. The ideal candidate will be skilled in process mapping, process improvement methodologies, process design mindset, and stakeholder engagement.
Job Description
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Support business stakeholders in understanding process pain points, improvement opportunities, and basic requirements across functions
- Assist in process discovery, documentation, analysis, and mapping activities using Lean and other continuous improvement tools
- This is a junior-level position designed as an individual contributor role.
- Contribute to workshops and meetings by preparing materials, capturing inputs, and supporting facilitation led by senior team members
- Perform preliminary root cause analysis and help identify improvement opportunities, including potential areas for automation (e.g., RPA, low-code solutions)
- Help develop process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and performance metrics under guidance from senior consultants
- Support implementation activities, change management tasks, and follow-up actions to ensure successful adoption of improved processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and project leads to maintain alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables
- Assist in preparing dashboards, reports, and presentations for stakeholders
Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of process improvement frameworks; exposure to Lean/Lean Six Sigma preferred (certification is a plus but not mandatory)
- 1 to 3 years of experience in process improvement, business operations, quality, or related analytical roles
- Graduate in any stream
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with willingness to learn structured methodologies
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently on assigned tasks
- Ability to engage with stakeholders confidently with support from senior team members
- Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and team orientation
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Exposure to process mapping or documentation tools; familiarity with BPMN is an advantage
