Roles and Responsibilities:
Identify, approach, and establish relationships with companies for HCL GUVI associated College student's placements.
Research, identify, and cultivate relationships with leading corporations to establish them as Hiring Partners. The focus is on obtaining hiring requirements from these companies for Campus hiring for College students.
Collaborate with universities/colleges academic teams to understand student's profiles, academic outcomes, and employability requirements.
Assess hiring requirements from companies and evaluate feasibility based on student skill levels, location, batch readiness, and timelines.
Decide which requirements can be realistically mapped to partner colleges
Share structured hiring briefs with internal academic & placement teams
Act as a bridge between companies, colleges, and internal delivery team
Develop and nurture robust relationships with hiring partners, facilitating smooth onboarding and a clear understanding of their recruitment needs.
Excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to cross-selling, this person will use their expertise to identify qualified leads, leading to sales opportunities with new and existing customers.
Track and report placement and sales data regularly.
Should be willing to make cold calls.
Should be focused on generating new leads.
Willing to meet clients and be open to field sales.
Also must be willing to coordinate Campus drives on College campuses for Client hiring
requirements
Skills & Requirements:
Possess at least 3 - 5 years of experience as Placement officer in Colleges or Placements & Corporate Relations in EduTech sector.
Should have a strong network with the Talent Acquisition teams of various companies in domains like IT, Product, etc.
Demonstrates strong business development, negotiation, and communication skills.
Should be a go-getter, great execution makes good ideas successful.
Should have a great passion for increasing employability of College students.
Should have experience and working knowledge of CRM systems.
