Daily Settlement handling strategy to avoid financial losses to the bank, merchants and card holders. Implement, maintain and improve processes to ensure effective operational processes to monitor and maintain financial controls and achieve business objectives Be part of the business decision and work closely with product and promotions teams to understand current and future requirements, ensuring the crucial balance between risk and service is well understood and accepted.
- Manage day to day card settlement processes to various association, entry posting in financial systems, understanding various reports from association and product processor system.
- Design Settlement reports and analyses, setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions; develop, recommend and implement policies and procedures related to internal and external financial reporting, monitoring and analysis, merchant training etc.
- Sound knowledge of general banking with good experience on Cards Settlement process (Issuance and acquiring) and financial accounting
- Knowledge in the cards life cycle & transaction life cycle
- Working Knowledge in Visa & Master card settlement process
- Knowledge in various Transaction Codes (TC)
- Knowledge in P&L accounts Revenue & Expense
- Knowledge in booking provisions
- Knowledge in VIBS & MCBS charges
- Knowledge in General Ledger account, Nostro account and reconciliation.
- Hands on experience in working in Prime Platform/Flex cube system.
