Basic Functions- Skilled and motivated .NET and SQL Application Support professional to join our Production Support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintaining .NET-based applications and SQL databases in a production environment. You will work closely with development teams, end-users to ensure the smooth operation and availability of business-critical applications
Monitor, maintain, and support .NET applications in a production environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues reported by users or identified through monitoring tools.
Collaborate with development teams to deploy patches, updates, and new releases.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions as needed.
- Incident Management:
- Provide support to end-users by addressing application-related queries and issues
- Conduct user training sessions as needed to improve user proficiency with the applications.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks to improve application efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of application configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Respond to and manage production incidents in a timely manner, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
Document and track incidents, resolutions, and root cause analysis.
Work with cross-functional teams to implement preventive measures and reduce future incidents.
Essential Functions- Strong problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to roll up your sleeves and work to create timely solutions and resolutions, to validate, verify, communicate, and resolve application issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in .NET and SQL development and support.
