Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Associate Analyst to join our Total Rewards team. The successful candidate is a detail-oriented and analytical professional who will support benefits and compensation functions. Must be able to collaborate across People & Culture (P&C) functions, as well as with other departments within the organization such as Finance and Legal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compensation Analysis & Administration:
  • Support the annual compensation review process
  • Assist in the completion of salary surveys and analysis
  • Work with the Director, Compensation in the development of tools & resources to support managers in making informed compensation decisions
  • Benefits Administration:
  • Serve as back-up for weekly retirement benefits payroll reconciliation and funding process
  • Audit the weekly benefits administrator balance and arrears reporting
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual benefits payroll audits to ensure limits compliance
  • Collaboration:
  • Partner with vendors, Operating Company P&C partners and payroll teams to ensure smooth administration of benefits, accurate payroll deductions, etc.
  • Work with Sr. Compensation Analyst(s) and P&C partners to provide guidance on compensation decisions for new hires, transfers and promotions
  • Communication:
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of communication related to compensation and benefits programs
  • Serve as a benefits subject matter expert, answering employee questions and escalating issues for resolution when necessary
  • Knowledge of compensation survey tools, market-based pay structures and survey methodologies
  • Experience working with health & welfare and retirement savings plan vendors
  • Proficient in HRIS reporting & analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • High-level numerical & analytical skills in Excel
