Job Title:Associate Analyst

Location: Bangalore

Business & Team:COO - Retail Operations - Compliance Investigations/Disputes

Impact & contribution:As an Associate Analyst, you will be a self-starter who is passionate about delivering world class customer service, building strong relationships with the stakeholders and you will possess the following attributes:

Reporting lines:

Associate Analyst reports directly to the Manager of the Disputes/Compliance Operations Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:You will be expected to perform the following tasks in a manner consistent with CBA's Values and People Capabilities.

Core responsibilities:

. Analyse disputed card transaction for both fraud and non-fraud transaction by investigating, exploring opportunities to identify recovery and mitigate losses and documenting and resolving claims.

Information and Payment required received from Government agencies/Local court are actioned with due diligence with quality outcome.
. Engaging with both internal and external stakeholders to assist with investigation on root cause of losses
. Analysing transaction challenges which cause chargeback losses and troubleshooting to determine the issue and working with subject matter experts to identify and execute solution
. Work with clients to collect and document information that may be used to resolving outstanding disputes
. Ensuring that all the Disputes cases are handled in accordance with the regulatory Requirement.

Essential Skills:

  • Fresher or 1-3 years experience working in a Banking role (preferably Cards/Statutory Compliance processes)
  • Knowledge on the Disputes resolution/statutory compliance process will be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to effectively plan and coordinate incoming work and enquiries
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent Communication and stakeholder management skills, support by collaboration mindset and possess a service-based mindset with strong customer focus.
  • Proven analytical, and problem-solving skills alongside deriving solutions for customers.
  • Highly motivated, result driven, team and customer focused
  • Detail Oriented - Exercise extreme attention to details is thorough, accurate, organized, and productive and seeks to understand both cause and effect of a situation.
  • Good Judgement - The exercise of Critical thinking, analysing, assessing and taking ownership of outcome.

Qualifications:

  • Fresher (Graduate or postgraduate, preferable Commerce/Finance Background)
