As Mashreq's Assistant Vice President, you will be a key driver of our technology vision and digital transformation journey. Your role is to provide strategic direction and leadership in enterprise architecture, ensuring our technology infrastructure is future-proof and aligned with our business goals. You will collaborate closely with business domains, translating their needs into technical requirements and innovative solutions. - Lead and mentor the enterprise architecture team, providing strategic guidance and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide architecture, ensuring it meets industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their unique needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and implement cutting-edge solutions, leveraging emerging technologies to create business value and competitive advantage.
- Ensure the architecture's scalability, security, and performance, considering both current and future business demands.
- Conduct regular architecture reviews, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies, identifying opportunities for Mashreq's growth and innovation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners for effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Mentor and develop junior architects, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining a robust and secure architecture.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in enterprise and application architecture, with a proven track record of success and innovation.
- Deep expertise in enterprise architecture principles, methodologies, and best practices, including strategic planning and governance.
- Strong leadership skills, with a successful history of managing and inspiring enterprise architecture teams.
- Proficiency in architecture tools and techniques, such as modeling, simulation, and analysis, for efficient solution design and implementation.
- Exceptional business acumen, translating business strategies into technical roadmaps and ensuring alignment with the bank's strategy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, building effective partnerships across the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, delivering results and meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience with cloud computing, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies is highly desirable.
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, or similar are preferred, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory, with advanced degrees being an advantage.
