Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Relationship Managers to drive the growth and profitability of the Small Medium Enterprises (SME) segment
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the SME customer base and deepen existing relationships
- Oversee the delivery of comprehensive financial solutions and advisory services to SME clients
- Ensure exceptional customer service and client satisfaction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching and mentoring, and drive continuous improvement
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices
Requirements
- 10-15 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and achieving sales targets
- Thorough understanding of the SME segment, their financial needs, and the competitive landscape
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Proficient in the use of relevant banking and financial software applications
Education / Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors in finance / Economics/Commerce or MBA or CA
