Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Relationship Managers to drive the growth and profitability of the Small Medium Enterprises (SME) segment
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the SME customer base and deepen existing relationships
  • Oversee the delivery of comprehensive financial solutions and advisory services to SME clients
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching and mentoring, and drive continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and achieving sales targets
  • Thorough understanding of the SME segment, their financial needs, and the competitive landscape
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Proficient in the use of relevant banking and financial software applications

Education / Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors in finance / Economics/Commerce or MBA or CA

Core Competencies

  • Excellent Communication & Listening Skills, Good Sales & Negotiation Skills

Technical Competencies

  • Working Capital Finance Knowledge
