You need to be a HODLer of these
Experience
- 8+ years of experience in operations, with at least 3-5 years in leadership roles
- Strong background in trading operations and/or custody operations, preferably in crypto/digital assets or traditional financial markets
- Proven track record of managing large-scale operations with significant asset/revenue responsibility
- Experience managing and scaling operations teams of 10+ members
Technical Knowledge
- Deep understanding of cryptocurrency trading mechanics (spot, futures, options, margin trading)
- Strong knowledge of custody solutions, wallet management, and blockchain technology
- Familiarity with exchange operations, order management systems, and risk management frameworks
- Understanding of regulatory landscape for crypto in India
Core Competencies
- Problem Solving : Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to diagnose complex operational issues and design innovative solutions
- People Management : Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire teams; strong mentorship and talent development skills
- Operational Rigour : Obsessive attention to detail with a process-driven mindset; ability to build scalable operations
- Risk Management : Strong risk assessment capabilities with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating operational risks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cryptocurrency exchanges, brokers, or fintech platforms
- Background in traditional financial services (trading desks, custody banks, brokerages)
- Knowledge of blockchain explorers, on-chain analysis, and smart contracts
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (PMLA, KYC/AML) in Indian context
- Engineering or Finance background with MBA preferred

Team Leadership
- Lead and manage two critical teams: Trade Operations and Custody Operations
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing operations teams
- Foster a culture of operational rigour, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Technology, Product, Risk, and Compliance teams
Trade Operations Management
Own and minimize trading losses and revenue leakage in partnership with Tech/Product teams Optimize exposure settlement processes to prevent delayed settlement losses Implement risk controls for futures positions management Drive operational excellence to reduce trade rejections: Ensure adequate fund availability and liquidity management Manage order placement limits and position limits effectively Reduce operational controllable rejections to industry-leading levels Oversee corporate actions and user compensations: Manage listing, delisting, redenomination, and rebranding events Achieve exceptional turnaround time (TAT) and Net Promoter Score (NPS) Optimize margin efficiency: Solve for USDT supply challenges to maintain User Margin/Company Margin ratio < 1 in futures trading
Implement innovative liquidity and margin management solutions
Custody Operations Management
- Establish and maintain state-of-the-art systems across hot/warm/cold custody
- Maintain and develop stringent custody risk controls
- Design and implement robust custody protocols, multi-signature workflows, and disaster recovery procedures
- Ensure compliance with custody best practices and regulatory requirements
Operational Rigour & Process Excellence
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics
- Implement process automation and operational efficiency improvements
- Design and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all critical operations
- Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive action frameworks
- Ensure operational resilience through business continuity planning
- Design and maintain systems that ensure minimal market risk and mitigate market risk proactively across spot, derivatives and earn products
