Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - Infrastructure & Logistics

Role Summary
The roles will lead to the global Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) function for the organization. This role will be responsible for reporting to Vice President - Genpact (Global EHS & Sustainability Leader). This role is responsible for driving the global EHS strategy, leading a team of EHS & ESG SMEs across regions, and ensuring compliance with international standards, certifications, and global reporting requirements. The incumbent will oversee ISO management systems (ISO 14001, 45001, 50001), GRI + SASB + IFRS2 based Sustainability Reporting, ESG ratings including Eco Vadis, CDP, Sustainalytics, Integrity Next, MSCI, SEDEX/SMETA, ASRA, DJSI, FTSE4GOOD among others, and enterprise-wide initiatives aligned with corporate sustainability goals like SBTi validated Net Zero targets.
Key Responsibilities
.Lead and coordinate the organization's global EHS & Sustainability efforts across all geographies in coordination with site teams and regional management teams.
.Lead the preparation and publication of the Annual Sustainability/ESG Report aligned with various ESG standards like GRI, SASB, IFRS2, TNFD, UNGC.
.Coordinate submissions for ESG ratings and indices including CDP, Eco Vadis, MSCI, Sustainalytics, FTSE and DJSI.
.Develop long-term EHS&S strategy aligned with corporate ESG roadmap.
.Manage a distributed team of global EHS/ESG SMEs and regional coordinators.
.Own and manage global ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 certification programs, and add other certifications over time like SA8000.
.Lead the preparation and publication of the Annual Sustainability/ESG Report aligned with GRI, SASB, IFRS2, TNFD, UNGC.
.Coordinate submissions for ESG ratings and indices including CDP, Eco Vadis, MSCI, Sustainalytics, FTSE and DJSI.
.Drive applications for global EHS/ESG awards and recognitions.
.Develop, track, and report KPIs for carbon footprint, energy intensity, water usage, waste management, and safety performance.
.Manage annual EHS & Sustainability budget and ensure governance.
.Lead adoption of EHS/ESG digital tools such as Gensuite/Benchmark, Enablon, Intellex, SFDC NZC, Power BI, and ESG data platforms.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.Bachelor's or Master's degrees in environmental engineering, Safety, Sustainability, or related field.
.Relevant years of relevant experience in EHS, Sustainability, or ESG roles in a global environment (IT/ITES preferred).
.Proven experience managing ISO 14001/45001/50001 systems.
.Strong knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks.
.Experience leading cross-functional global teams.
Preferred Certifications
.- NEBOSH / IOSH / Lead Auditor (14001/45001/50001)
.- GRI Standards certification or ESG reporting credentials
.- Training in Energy Management, Carbon Accounting, or Life Cycle Assessment

.- High degree of ownership, accountability, and ethical conduct.
.- Agility in working with technology and digital tools.
.- working with remote and global teams would be a plus

.- Successful renewal/maintenance of ISO certifications.
.- Improvement in ESG ratings (CDP, MSCI, Eco-Vadis etc.)
.- On-time publication of Annual Sustainability Report.
.- Achievement of global EHS & ESG targets.
.- Increased adoption of EHS/ESG platforms and digital tools.
