Job Description

  • Maintenance and Asset Management: Overseeing, inspecting, and repairing complex machinery, HVAC systems, electrical panels, and building structures to ensure optimal operation.
  • Space and Workplace Planning: Designing and managing the layout of physical spaces to support employee productivity, process efficiency, and proper equipment placement.
  • Health, Safety, and Compliance: Ensuring the facility adheres to strict regulations, including fire safety, security systems, and environmental health standards.
  • Sustainability and Energy Management: Monitoring and reducing energy consumption, waste management, and improving the environmental footprint of the building.
  • Vendor and Contract Management: Hiring and managing external contractors for services such as cleaning, landscaping, security, and repairs.
  • Technology and Data Management: Utilizing Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) or building management systems to track data on resource usage and equipment health.
  • Business Continuity and Emergency Response: Creating plans to manage and mitigate risks from disasters, equipment failures, or security breaches.
  • Support Services and Employee Experience: Managing day-to-day services such as catering, janitorial, and workspace comfort to improve employee productivity and experience.
