Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientedAssistant Store Managerto support store and inventory operations at our edible oil manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in inventory management, proficiency inTally ERP, and working knowledge of mechanical and chemical equipment. Familiarity with5S methodologyandGood Manufacturing Practices (GMP)is essential.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

Store & Inventory Management

  • Assist in managing daily store operations including inventory control, stock handling, and material storage
  • Maintain accurate inventory records usingTally ERP software
  • Oversee receipt, issuance, and documentation of incoming and outgoing materials

Coordination & Operations

  • Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Procurement teams to ensure timely material availability
  • Supervise proper handling and storage of mechanical and chemical equipment in compliance with safety standards

Compliance & Quality

  • Implement and maintain5S methodologyandGMP practiceswithin the store area
  • Conduct regular physical stock verification and inventory audits
  • Ensure proper labelling, documentation, and traceability of all stored materials

People Management

  • Train, guide, and monitor junior staff and store assistants on standard operating procedures and best practices

Safety & Policy Adherence

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse safety standards, food safety regulations, and operational procedures

Required Skills & Competencies

  • 25 years of experience in store or inventory management, preferably in FMCG, edible oil, or food manufacturing
  • Proficiency inTally ERPandMS Office applications
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and chemical equipment handling and storage
  • Good understanding of5S, GMP, and warehouse safety standards
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Experience in edible oil or food processing industry
  • Certifications in5S,GMP, orWarehouse / Inventory Management
