Position: Assistant Sales Manager

Experience :4+ years

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven team Assistant sales manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of sales professionals, developing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a strong leader who can foster a positive team environment, improve sales performance, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for team members and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented team culture.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Sales Performance and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Training and Development:
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Keep the team informed about new products, services, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales management,
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and developing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of trends and market conditions.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
