Role Description
The Assistant Sales Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ludhiana. This position involves managing and supporting the sales team in achieving business goals and revenue targets. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, preparing sales reports, and assisting in the development of sales strategies. The Assistant Sales Manager will also coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Proven sales and business development skills with a focus on customer acquisition and retention
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations such as freight forwarding, warehousing, and transportation management
- Analytical skills for sales reporting, strategic planning, and market analysis
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and CRM platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; relevant certifications are advantageous
- Prior experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is a plus
