Assistant Manager Sales (Consumer Promotions & Loyalty Solutions)
- Drive new business development by identifying and securing B2B opportunities in promotions and loyalty solutions.
- Own the complete sales lifecycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and deal closure.
- Build, nurture, and expand client relationships while ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
- Understand client objectives and propose tailored engagement and rewards-based solutions.
- Conduct market research and analyze customer needs to create effective sales strategies.
- Increase revenue through client acquisition, as well as cross-selling and upselling activities.
- Work closely with internal teams to prepare impactful proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline through networking, industry events, and outreach efforts.
- Handle complex negotiations involving multiple stakeholders to secure long-term partnerships.
- Maintain accurate sales data, update CRM systems regularly, and monitor lead progress.
- Prepare periodic reports on pipeline status, conversions, and customer feedback.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of sales initiatives.
- Be open to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field; MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in consultative or B2B sales roles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities.
- Exposure to FMCG/FMCD, loyalty programs, or customer engagement solutions is preferred.
