Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Sales Manager located in Hubli-Dharwad. The Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting the sales team by identifying business opportunities, managing client relationships, preparing proposals, and working towards achieving sales targets. The role will also involve conducting market research, meeting with potential clients, negotiating deals, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaboration with internal teams to deliver high-quality products and solutions is a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications

  • Sales and negotiation skills, with prior experience in business development or sales management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships
  • Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and identify emerging business opportunities
  • Knowledge of industrial valve products and their applications is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office tools for reporting and client management
  • Effective planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Willingness to work on-site in Hubli-Dharwad and travel for client meetings as required
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or Mechatronics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • At least 2 years of experience in industrial sales or a related domain is an advantage
  • A proactive and goal-oriented approach to achieving and exceeding sales targets
