Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and supportive Assistant Relationship Manager to collaborate closely with Sales Professionals (SPs) and bank partners to drive lead generation, application logging, and business growth. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in tapping into relevant databases, ensuring authentic documentation, and building strong relationships to meet sales targets. This role demands adherence to company policies, a commitment to customer education, and consistent reporting, all while contributing to high levels of persistency and customer service.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist and support Sales Professionals (SPs) in generating leads and logging prospective applications.
  • Drive and motivate bank SPs, ensuring efficient logging of sourced applications through the operations department.
  • Strategically tap into the appropriate customer databases of the branch to identify potential leads and ensure authentic documentation for all applications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, working collaboratively to ensure both individual and SP targets are met effectively.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, providing needs-based selling support to customers.
  • Ensure that customers are thoroughly well-informed of the product features sold through SPs and the bank channels.
  • Act as a collaborative team player, diligently reporting the number of applications logged for the business every day to the reporting manager without fail.
  • Ensure a high level of Persistency and provide outstanding Customer Service to all customers.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a sales support, customer service, or junior relationship management role, preferably within the financial services or insurance industry.
  • Ability to assist in lead generation and application logging processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with sales professionals and bank partners.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly concerning documentation.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Basic understanding of sales targets and motivation techniques.
  • A team player with good reporting habits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with banking partners or in a bancassurance model.
  • Familiarity with sales processes in the insurance or financial products sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
