Job Description

Academic Administration

  • Handling student admissions, enrolment, and examination processes.
  • Maintaining student records, transcripts, degrees, and certificates.
  • Coordinating with academic departments for timetable, results, and grading.

General Administration

  • Assisting Registrar in implementing university rules, regulations.
  • Supervising office staff and ensuring smooth workflow in administration.
  • Drafting official communications, circulars, and notices.

Human Resource & Establishment

  • Looking after service matters of faculty and staff (appointments, leave, promotions).
  • Maintaining employee records and service books.
  • Helping in recruitment processes as per UGC norms.

Finance & Examination (if assigned)

  • Overseeing fee collection, scholarships, and financial records related to students.
  • Supporting examination section (conduct, evaluation, results publication).

Compliance & Liaison

  • Assisting in compliance with UGC, AICTE, NAAC, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Preparing reports, data, and documents required for accreditation/inspection.
  • Liaising with government departments, affiliating bodies, and external agencies.

Discipline & Grievance Handling

  • Ensuring discipline in administrative and academic activities.
  • Addressing student/staff grievances in coordination with Registrar.
