Role Overview
Own and drive Programmatic (Network / Indirect) revenue across display, video, and native inventory on
Cricbuzz. The role focuses on Open Auction, PMP deals, and yield optimization, ensuring strong eCPMs,
fill rates, and demand scale, especially during high-traffic events.
Key Responsibilities
● Manage and optimize Open Auction (AdX / Header Bidding / Prebid / EBDA) performance
● Drive yield optimization via floor pricing, bidder strategy, and auction dynamics
● Monitor and improve core KPIs: eCPM, fill rate, bid rate, viewability
● Build and scale PMPs and programmatic partnerships
● Run A/B tests (floors, layouts, timeout, formats) to unlock incremental revenue
● Plan monetization strategy for high-traffic events (IPL, ICC tournaments)
● Own reporting & insights across geo, device, and ad formats
● Collaborate with Ad Ops, Product, and Sales teams on inventory and UX trade-offs
● Ensure brand safety, ad quality, and policy compliance
● Manage category blocking, ad reviews, and UX safeguards
Requirements
● 3-5 years in Programmatic / Ad Monetization (publisher side preferred)
● Strong hands-on experience with:
○ Google Ad Manager (GAM)
○ AdX / Open Auction
○ Header Bidding (Prebid / EBDA)
● Solid understanding of auction dynamics, floor optimization, and demand ecosystems
● Strong analytical skills (Excel/Sheets, SQL is a plus)
● Experience handling high-scale traffic environments is preferred
