Sierra Learning Academy is seeking a dynamic Mid-level Studio Faculty to lead end-to-end creative workflows from ideation to AI-augmented execution. The role is embedded within a rigorous undergraduate program and works closely with specialist mentors under the Head of Department.
Role Overview
The Studio Lead will drive practice-based learning, uphold industry-grade creative standards, and mentor students toward professional readiness through structured studio engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Studio & Workflow Leadership: Lead practice-based studio modules across semesters, ensuring strong creative workflows, structured critique culture, and industry-quality output.
- AI & Technical Integration: Integrate responsible AI augmentation into creative processes while reinforcing systems thinking, automation discipline, and quality evaluation.
- Professional Mentorship: Mentor students in building industry-grade portfolios and achieving internship readiness aligned with professional performance benchmarks.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 36 years of experience in media studios, creative agencies, digital production, or creative technology teams.
Technical Breadth:
- Strong competencies across multiple creative and technical domains such as design systems, video production, digital content workflows, creative automation, or foundational scripting.
Professional Mindset:
- A workflow-first professional with high accountability, disciplined execution, and strong feedback orientation.
- Ability to mentor emerging creatives while maintaining industry-grade standards.
