Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Academic Delivery
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Information Technology and allied domains.
- Design and update curriculum aligned with industry standards and academic regulations.
- Mentor students for academic projects, research work, internships, and career development.
- Participate in academic planning, assessment, accreditation, and quality assurance processes.
Research & Publications
- Actively engage in high-quality research and scholarly activities.
- Publish research papers in Scopus-indexed journals, ABDC-listed journals, and UGC CARE journals (mandatory).
- Apply for funded research projects, consultancy, and interdisciplinary research initiatives.
- Guide students and scholars in research and publication activities.
Institutional Contributions
- Participate in academic committees, conferences, seminars, FDPs, workshops, and outreach programs.
- Support accreditation, ranking, and institutional quality initiatives.
- Contribute to collaborations, MoUs, industry partnerships, and academic networking.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Information Technology / Computer Science / Allied Discipline
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Strong research orientation and academic writing skills
- Expertise in emerging IT domains (AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, IoT, etc.)
- Excellent teaching, mentoring, and communication skills
- Ability to attract research funding and projects
- Collaborative mindset and leadership potential
Experience
- Prior teaching/research experience in higher education institutions preferred
- Proven experience in guiding student research and publications will be an added advantage
