Assistant Professor – Pharmacy

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor – Pharmacy, based in Chennai at Sri Venkateswaraa Medcity. The selected candidate will lead lectures, seminars, and practical sessions to train students in the field of pharmacy. Responsibilities also include curriculum development, mentoring students, conducting and publishing research, and contributing to academic and institutional initiatives. The role fosters collaboration with other departments and encourages engagement in community outreach activities related to healthcare education.

• Strong subject knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences and teaching methodologies
• Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis, and publishing in academic journals
• Effective communication, presentation, and mentoring skills
• Team collaboration and the ability to contribute to the academic development of the institution
• Prior teaching experience in a higher education setting is preferred
• PhD or Master's degree in Pharmacy or a closely related field
• Commitment to contributing to the academic and professional growth of students
• Familiarity with advancements in pharmaceutical technology and pedagogy is a plus
