Job Summary
Amity University Punjab is seeking a dedicated and academically driven Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering. The candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to departmental and institutional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lectures in core Computer Science subjects such as Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, DBMS, AI/ML, etc.
- Develop course materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with university standards
- Mentor and guide students in academic and research activities
- Conduct and publish research in reputed journals/conferences
- Supervise student projects, theses, and internships
- Participate in curriculum development and academic planning
- Contribute to departmental administration and university initiatives
- Engage in continuous professional development activities
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) Mandatory
- M.Tech (CSE) / MCA Required
- B.Tech (CSE) / BCA Required
- Strong academic background with consistent performance
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience in a reputed university/institution
- Research publications in SCI/Scopus indexed journals
- Exposure to emerging technologies such as AI, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity
- Industry experience (optional but desirable)
