Assistant Professor (Business Analytics)

Role Summary:
The Assistant Professor Business Analytics will deliver data-driven courses, guide analytics projects, and contribute to interdisciplinary research and industry engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach R, Python, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, Cyber Security, Deep Learning, Machine Learning for Business, Decision Models, and related subjects.
- Support student participation in industry interactions, competitions, certifications, internship and placements.
- Train students on analytical tools and platforms such as Python, R, SQL, and Power BI.
- Supervise student analytics projects, capstones, and applied research projects.
- Collaborate with industry on analytics-driven initiatives and projects.
- Participate in curriculum development, assessment processes, and accreditation.
- Publish research in analytics, management, and interdisciplinary journals.
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Business Analytics / Data Science / Operations Research / Management (Analytics specialization).
- First Class or equivalent at Master's and/or Bachelor's level degree (MBA / B. Tech. / BBA / BCA / B.Sc. / B.Com.)
- NET/SET/SLET or equivalent qualification as per UGC norms.
- Foreign degrees, if any must be recognized/equivalenced by UGC / AIU.
- Relevant and adequate teaching experience as prescribed by UGC / AICTE norms.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in finance and analytical tools, such as Bloomberg, EViews, and advanced Excel models.
- Strong, analytical, quantitative, and research orientation
- Effective teaching, student engagement, and communication skills.
- Strong teaching presentation, communication and student engagement skills
