Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based at SRM IST's campus in Chengalpattu for the position of Assistant Professor in Law. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality lectures, conducting impactful research, mentoring students, and guiding them in academic projects. Additional responsibilities include developing course materials, participating in academic conferences, and contributing to department development and institutional activities.

Qualifications

• Expertise in various domains of law, legal research, and strong knowledge of constitutional, administrative, civil, and criminal law.
• Ability to conduct legal research and present findings in a clear and organized manner.
• Aptitude for teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging lectures and presentations.
• Proficiency in academic project guidance and research supervision.
• A Ph.D. in Law or enrollment in a Ph.D. program is preferred.
• Prior teaching or legal practice experience is an advantage.
• Commitment to academic excellence, ethics, and a passion for education and research.
