Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor at the International Institute of Sports & Management, located in Mumbai. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, designing academic content and curriculum, and mentoring students. The role involves conducting research in relevant fields, delivering lectures, supervising student projects, and actively participating in academic and institutional activities. The Assistant Professor will also collaborate with the sports industry to provide students with experiential learning opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in academic teaching, curriculum design, and student mentoring.
  • Strong expertise in subjects related to Sports Management, Sports Science, and related domains.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Research-driven mindset with a record of publications or experience in conducting academic research.
  • Ability to engage effectively with industry stakeholders for collaborative projects and experiential learning initiatives.
  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Sports Management, Sports Science, or a closely related field (Doctorate preferred).
  • Experience in the sports industry or an academic institution specializing in sports will be an added advantage.
