Job Summary:
The Assistant Professor HR is responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Human Resource Management, conducting research, and contributing to academic development. The role includes mentoring students, participating in institutional activities, and supporting curriculum development aligned with industry trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Academic Delivery:
- Deliver lectures in HR subjects such as:
- Recruitment & Selection
- Training & Development
- Performance Management
- Organizational Behavior
- Labour Laws
- Develop lesson plans, case studies, and teaching materials
- Conduct examinations, assessments, and evaluations
- Use modern teaching methods (presentations, case-based learning, etc.)
Research & Development:
- Conduct research in HR and related fields
- Publish papers in reputed journals
- Participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences
- Apply for research grants (if applicable)
Student Engagement:
- Mentor and guide students for academic and career growth
- Support student projects, internships, and placements
- Conduct workshops and guest sessions
Administrative Duties:
- Participate in curriculum design and syllabus updates
- Assist in accreditation and documentation work
- Contribute to college/university committees
- Support admission and promotional activities
Eligibility Criteria:
- Master's Degree (MBA/PGDM) in HR with minimum 55% marks
- NET/SET qualification preferred (as per UGC norms)
- Ph.D. in HR (preferred or mandatory as per institution policy)
Skills Required:
- Strong subject knowledge in HR
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Research and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office / digital teaching tools
- Interpersonal and mentoring skills
Experience:
- 03 years (Freshers with strong academic background can apply)
- Prior teaching or industry experience in HR is an advantage
