Assistant Professor

GITAM (Deemed to be University) invites applications for a faculty position in Operations & Supply Chain Management within the GITAM School of Business. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and Post graduate courses, conduct research in the field of Information Systems, and contribute to departmental and institutional service.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Faculty of Operations & Supply Chain Management are require to teach Digital Transformation in Supply Chains: Technology and Innovation, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Strategic Logistics Management, Decision Science for Business Management, Quality Management and Lean Six Sigma, Supply Chain Analytics, Circular Economy Engage in scholarly research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.

• Advise and mentor students academically and professionally.
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to service activities at the departmental, college, and university levels.
• Engage with industry partners and support student internship opportunities.

Education and Experience

• Ph.D. in Operations & Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Effective teaching or potential for excellence in teaching.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in IT, business analytics, or cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated research record or potential for scholarly productivity.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and technology-enhanced teaching.
