Key Responsibilities

As a Foundation Programme Faculty Member, you will:

Teaching and Learning

Deliver high-quality, learner-centred instruction in your subject area, aligned with International Foundation Pathway curriculum objectives.

Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning among students.

Integrate academic skills, study strategies, and subject knowledge effectively in classroom delivery.

Curriculum & Assessment

Plan and develop engaging lesson plans, teaching materials, and resources based on INTO Qualifications guidelines.

Conduct ongoing formative assessments (quizzes, class tutorial, discussions & Research report writing) and summative assessments (tests, assignments, Final Foundation exams) in accordance with programme standards.

Provide constructive, timely feedback to support student progression and achievement.

Ensure rigorous academic integrity in all assessments to meet university progression criteria.

Student Support and Engagement

Monitor student performance and participation; intervene with appropriate support strategies.

Encourage active collaboration, group work, and cross-cultural academic engagement among students.

Guide students to meet required learning outcomes for progression to Year 1 undergraduate degrees.

Academic Standards and Reporting

Maintain accurate academic records, grades, and attendance in the institution's LMS.

Participate in academic meetings, moderation, and quality assurance processes of the pathway provider

Collaborate with interdisciplinary faculty to enhance programme impact and student success.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Postgraduate Degree (Master's or higher) with first class in relevant field(s), with excellent academic track record from UG to PG.

Minimum 5 years teaching experience in international schools, IB curricula, international foundation programmes, or similar educational settings.

Demonstrated ability to teach students of diverse academic backgrounds.

Strong skills in curriculum design, assessment literacy, and academic study skills and Mentoring

Preferred

IB Teaching experience of more than 5 years is required.

Experience with international foundation, pathway, or preparatory programmes.

Familiarity with RQF Level 3 standards, UK, US, or global university progression pathways.

Prior involvement in academic moderation, quality assurance, or learning outcome alignment activities.
