Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and academically strong individual for the position of
Assistant Professor – Finance in the MBA program. The candidate should be a
recent PhD graduate in Finance or related domain, with a passion for teaching, research, and academic contribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching in core and elective Finance subjects at the MBA level
- Develop and update course content in alignment with current financial practices and industry trends
- Conduct research and publish in reputed journals/conferences
- Guide MBA students in projects, internships, and placements
- Contribute to curriculum design, academic planning, and accreditation processes
- Organize workshops, seminars, and industry interactions
- Participate in institutional development and administrative responsibilities
Eligibility Criteria
- PhD in Finance / Commerce / Management (Finance Specialization) – Recently Awarded
- MBA / PGDM in Finance with strong academic background
- NET/SET qualification preferred (as per regulatory norms)
- Research publications in peer-reviewed journals (preferred)
- Strong subject knowledge in areas such as Financial Management, Investment Analysis, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, etc.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in financial tools and software (Excel, SPSS, R, or similar)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Industry exposure or consultancy experience (added advantage)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring abilities
