The Assistant Professor in ECE will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and institutional development in alignment with the university's vision.
Responsibilities
- Teaching & Academic Delivery
- Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate ECE courses such as:
- Digital Electronics
- Analog Circuits
- Communication Systems
- Signal Processing
- VLSI Design / Embedded Systems
- Develop lesson plans, course materials, and assessments
- Use modern teaching methodologies (ICT tools, simulations, project-based learning)
- Research & Publications
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in ECE domains
- Publish papers in reputed journals (Scopus/SCI indexed preferred)
- Apply for research grants, patents, and funded projects
- Student Mentorship
- Guide student projects, internships, and theses
- Provide academic counseling and career guidance
- Support participation in technical competitions and hackathons
- Institutional Responsibilities
- Participate in curriculum development and accreditation processes (NBA/NAAC)
- Contribute to departmental administration and committees
- Organize workshops, seminars, FDPs, and conferences
- Industry Collaboration
- Build partnerships with industry for internships, training, and live projects
- Encourage industry-relevant skills and certifications
Qualifications
- Ph.D. Thesis Submission or Completed in ECE only
- Strong academic record (First Class or equivalent)
Required Skills
Proficiency in tools like MATLAB, Simulink, Cadence, or LabVIEW
- Knowledge of emerging areas:
- 5G/6G Communication
- IoT & Embedded Systems
- AI/ML applications in ECE
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Experience with outcome-based education (OBE)
Preferred Skills
- Fresh Ph.D. candidates or candidates with 05 years of teaching/research experience
- Prior teaching or industry experience is an advantage
