Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor - Computer Science at Amity University, Ranchi. The role involves developing and delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences in the field of computer science, data science, and cybersecurity. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for creating and updating course materials, conducting research activities, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic and administrative duties of the department. Additionally, the candidate will participate in curriculum development and foster an engaging and interactive learning environment to prepare students for industry challenges.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in Computer Science, including foundational principles and emerging trends.
• Proficiency in specialized fields such as Data Science and Cybersecurity.
• Skilled in Programming languages and tools relevant to the computer science domain.
• Experience in Curriculum Development and the ability to design industry-relevant programs.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities with a focus on student success and engagement.
• Previous teaching and/or industry experience is an advantage.
