Job Description

Teaching: Assistant Professors are responsible for delivering lectures, conducting seminars, and leading discussions on their area of expertise

Student Advising: Assistant Professors often serve as academic advisors, guiding students in their academic and career pursuits, providing mentorship, and offering guidance on research projects and coursework
Curriculum Development: They may have the opportunity to contribute to the development and revision of academic programs, courses, and curricula to ensure they remain current and relevant
Professional Development: Assistant Professors engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay informed about the latest developments in their field and pedagogical practices
Service: While the primary focus is on teaching and research, Assistant Professors may also contribute to the university or college community through service activities such as committee participation, event organization, and outreach
