MIT Art, Design and Technology University, Pune, invites applications for faculty positions at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor for the Management & Humanities Cluster. We seek academic leaders who can blend classical wisdom with modern professional expertise.

Vertical Specializations

• Commerce & Management: Finance, Marketing, HR, International Business, General Management.
• Computer Applications: MCA and BCA faculty with expertise in Software Dev, Cloud, and Data Analytics.
• Administrative Services: Public Administration, Policy Studies, and Competitive Exam Coaching.
• Humanities & Social Sciences: English Literature/Communication, Psychology (Clinical/Industrial), Sanskrit & Vedic Sciences.
• Professional Studies: Law (Constitutional, Corporate, Criminal, IPR) and Education (B.Ed./M.Ed. programs).

Minimum Qualifications as per UGC Regulations 2018 and norms of University and relevant statutory bodies (BCI/NCTE/AICTE)

Key responsibilities / duties as a Teaching Faculty:

1) Faculty must develop a teaching/instructional plan for the course(s) he/she teaches and stick to the academic calendar.

2) Faculty has to ensure that his/her teaching meets university and department standards.

3) Faculty will have to keep themselves updated in their subject by reading academic journals, review articles, research papers, books, etc.

4) Faculty will engage the classes regularly and punctually and impart such lessons/instructions as allotted by the Director/HoD from time to time

5) Faculty has to make use of different teaching methods and teaching aids with a more emphasis on ICT based teaching aids.

6) Faculty has to perform academic duties such as preparation of lectures, practicals, demonstrations, tutorials, assessment, mentoring, guidance to students for their dissertation/project/field work, etc.

7) Faculties are expected to publish original research papers in research journals of repute, regularly.

8) Faculties are expected to get research projects from various funding agencies.

9) Faculty will have to prepare proposals for departmental projects/research projects.

10) Faculty will have to attend conferences and seminars at various levels.

11) Faculty will have to organize conferences, seminars, workshops, etc. at all levels.

12) Faculty will have to serve on academic, administrative and other committees of the university.

13) Faculty will have to assess students progress by evaluating papers, tests, assignments, dissertation and other work which will cover all the aspects of formative assessment. He/she will also have to assist the University in smooth conduct of the University Examinations
