The Procurement Assistant Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing, cost optimization, and smooth coordination between internal teams and vendors. The role requires strong commercial understanding, negotiation skills, and control over procurement processes to support organizational goals
Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement cycle: PR → RFQ → evaluation → negotiation → PO → delivery → payment follow-up
- Develop and manage vendor relationships, including onboarding, evaluation, and performance tracking
- Lead price negotiations to achieve cost savings without compromising quality or timelines Coordinate closely with R&D, operations, and finance teams for planning and execution Ensure timely material availability to avoid project or production delays
- Monitor purchase budgets, spend analysis, and cost control initiatives
- Handle contract management and ensure compliance with company policies
- Track and resolve supply chain risks, delays, and escalations
- Work with finance on invoice verification, GRN matching, and payment follow-ups
- Maintain accurate procurement records, and documentation
Qualifications
Degree/Diploma
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in any of the following fields:
