Job Title: Senior Associate / Assistant Manager Operations
Location: Mumbai
Company Overview: PwC AIMS India is a 100% owned subsidiary of PwC UK, primarily set up to provide Actuarial services to the UK territory. The team is currently about 130 individuals with a potential to grow 50% over the next 3 years. With the increasing size and complexity of the business, we are looking to recruit a Senior Associate / Assistant Manager - Operations and Administration, to work alongside the Operations Manager and the Chief Operating Officer.
Position Overview:
The role is to provide greater local Operational support to the PwC AIMS Mumbai office and its people, given the growth ambitions for this practice. You will use your experience, skills and knowledge to provide expert advice and support on a wide range of Operations and General office admin matters, including compliance; staff engagement; facilities and infrastructure management, general administration, vendor management; and health, wellbeing and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations and Administrative Management:
- Supervise and ensure efficient office operations, including facilities management, infrastructure, BCP and administrative support.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement activities to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality service.
- Coordinate and manage employee travel and hotel arrangements.
- Maintain and enhance office systems to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinate Mumbai office events, meetings, and conferences.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Work with the labour law consultant to ensure compliance with monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory compliances.
- Prepare and analyse HR-related reports and metrics to provide insights for decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate qualification in any field.
- Operations Generalist with 4 to 7 years of experience in Ops and administration within a Big4, consulting Firms, GCCs/ Captives, SDCs environment will be preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of Operations functions, practices, and regulations in India.
- Self-driven individual able to work independently and deliver timely results.
- Proactively work with Mumbai team members and provide critical support to the
- Leadership and Support function teams in Mumbai.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint). Advance excel skills and Tech savvy is a must
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
