About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Last Mile Manager to support and execute last mile delivery operations in Mumbai. This role involves coordinating with delivery partners, tracking shipments in real-time, resolving exceptions, and ensuring seamless B2C deliveries. You'll play a key role in maintaining high service levels, optimizing delivery timelines, and supporting customer satisfaction through efficient last-mile execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily last mile dispatches with 3PL partners and internal fleet teams
- Monitor real-time delivery tracking and resolve delivery exceptions/escalations
- Support route planning and suggest improvements based on ground realities
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries aligned with SLAs
- Collaborate with warehouse, dispatch, and customer service teams for smooth order handovers
- Maintain daily MIS and assist in preparing delivery performance dashboards
- Assist in field audits, hub visits, and vendor reviews when needed
Who You Are:
- 25 years of experience in last mile logistics, dispatch, or delivery operations
- Experience in e-commerce, FMCG, or 3PL operations is preferred
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems, route optimization tools, and Excel
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage on-ground teams and partners
- Problem-solver with high attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
