Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Nursing Superintendent based in Malda. The Assistant Nursing Superintendent will oversee daily nursing operations, ensure high standards of patient care, and manage nursing staff assignments. Key responsibilities include supervising junior nursing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, coordinating patient care services, and supporting training and professional development initiatives for nursing teams. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes will also be a core aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with a proven ability to manage and mentor nursing staff.
- In-depth knowledge of patient care protocols, healthcare policies, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Proficiency in developing schedules and managing staffing requirements to ensure continuous patient care.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with medical teams and patients.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSc) or equivalent; additional certifications in healthcare management or leadership are advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical nursing care; prior leadership or administrative experience preferred.
