Assistant Manager

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting (F&A) operations.
• Hands-on experience in Record to Report (R2R), General Ledger (GL) Close, and Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
• Strong experience in Insurance Accounting and London Market Insurance financial processes.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and finance-related applications.
• Good understanding of Lloyd's of London work structure and insurance operations.
• Ability to manage teams, collaborate with clients, and provide business insights.
• Experience in driving process improvements and transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of SLA/KPI management and client audit compliance.
• Experience in handling month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.

Insurance Accounting Responsibilities:

• Record and manage premium income (Written, Earned, Unearned Premium).
• Record and monitor claims expenses (Paid Claims, Case Reserves, IBNR).
• Process reinsurance transactions (Ceded Premiums, Recoverables).
• Ensure accurate Chart of Accounts (COA) mapping from source systems.
• Maintain and reconcile sub-ledgers with the General Ledger.

Period-End Close Activities:

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Post accruals, deferrals, and adjustment journal entries.
• Review and validate trial balances and investigate variances.
• Ensure timely completion of close activities as per the close calendar.

Qualification:

• Finance Graduate
