Role Overview
As a Video Editor at Holidaytribe, you will play a key role in creating and optimizing video content across social media platforms (Instagram & LinkedIn), along with developing engaging motion graphics. You'll also contribute to YouTube destination videos and podcast editing. The role demands strong visual storytelling skills to captivate our audience and showcase the beauty of travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Social Media Video Content Create and optimize long-form videos and shorts for Youtube, video ads for Instagram, and engaging videos for LinkedIn to drive engagement and growth.
- Motion Graphics & Visual Storytelling Design and integrate motion graphics, animations, and graphic elements that elevate video quality and brand storytelling.
- YouTube Destination Videos & Travel Stories Edit, publish, and optimize destination-focused videos that highlight travel experiences and expert insights.
- Podcasts & Audio-Visual Content Support in editing and publishing high-quality podcast episodes, along with highlight clips for social media distribution.
- Maintain Brand Consistency Ensure all video and graphic content across platforms, website, and campaigns align with Holidaytribe's brand identity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in video editing and content production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong storytelling and video composition skills.
- Demonstrated experience creating high-performing content for Youtube, Instagram and LinkedIn (native video formats, captions/subtitles, hooks, retention-focused editing).
- Ability to shoot and edit engaging video content independently.
- A portfolio or showreel showcasing your past work is required.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with podcast audio/video editing workflows.
- Comfort with basic analytics to iterate on content for Instagram and LinkedIn.
