Assistant Manager - Transport & Distribution Operations - Container Freight Station - Redhills

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Performance & Profitability

• Achieve Transport EBITDA of a minimum of 60 lakhs per month.

• Ensure optimal fleet mix with 80% utilization of own trucks and 20% market vehicles.

• Drive revenue growth, including achieving targets such as 72 million from vessel empty movements.

2. Cost Management

• Monitor and control operational costs to improve margins.

• Implement strategies to reduce Opex costs by 25% against the approved budget.

• Optimize route planning, fuel efficiency, and resource allocation to minimize expenses.

3. Compliance & Governance

• Ensure zero complaints from Government authorities and Customs.

• Maintain high audit standards with no High risk ratings in internal transportation audits.

• Ensure timely vendor payments:

• Payments to be cleared within 3 months from the transaction date.

• No pending dues beyond FY 2025 timelines.

• Ensure MIS data alignment with Finance for accuracy and transparency.

4. Operational Efficiency

• Achieve 97% container movement within free days from Port to CFS.

• Ensure a minimum of 75 trips per trailer per month.

• Drive performance to achieve: 3200+ laden trips using own fleet & At least 70% laden trips through own trucks

• Optimize fleet usage: Maximize 2x20 container movements using own vehicles & Allocate single 20 containers to market vehicles effectively

• Maintain 92% truck reliability on road and ensure 100% driver availability and deployment.

• Ensure 100% utilization of OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) software for planning and tracking.
