Job Description

  • Manage tax compliance, including GST, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and file accurate tax returns within the stipulated deadlines.
  • Ensure adherence to all tax regulations and laws applicable to the FMCG sector.
  • Provide tax advisory support to internal teams for business decisions.
  • Coordinate with external consultants and tax authorities as required.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities to optimise the company's tax position.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of changes in tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Assist in audits and assessments related to taxation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Manager - Taxation should have:

  • CA with minimum 3-5 years of post qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, particularly in the FMCG and food sectors.
  • Proficiency in tax software and financial tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in coordinating with external tax consultants and authorities.
