Job Description

Manage tax compliance, including GST, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
Prepare and file accurate tax returns within the stipulated deadlines.
Ensure adherence to all tax regulations and laws applicable to the FMCG sector.
Provide tax advisory support to internal teams for business decisions.
Coordinate with external consultants and tax authorities as required.
Identify tax planning opportunities to optimise the company's tax position.
Maintain updated knowledge of changes in tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
Assist in audits and assessments related to taxation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Manager - Taxation should have:

CA with minimum 3-5 years of post qualification experience.
Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, particularly in the FMCG and food sectors.
Proficiency in tax software and financial tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Experience in coordinating with external tax consultants and authorities.
