Job summary
The Senior Transfer Pricing is responsible for managing and executing transfer pricing engagements, ensuring compliance with TP laws in India, supporting client discussions, and mentoring junior team members. The role involves handling assessments, providing technical insights, and ensuring timely delivery of assignments while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Apply a thorough understanding of Transfer Pricing concepts and Indian TP laws to client engagements
- Identify key discussion areas for seniors and clients
- Understand the client's business and issues involved to provide relevant solutions
- Apply learnings from one assignment to another to improve efficiency and reduce duplication
- Stay updated with case laws and interpret their ratio for application in assignments
- Ensure client requirements and timelines are met
- Initiate and ideate approaches for handling assignments effectively
- Handle transfer pricing assessments and liaise with tax authorities
- Communicate and build relationships with client juniors and stakeholders
- Take personal ownership and accountability for work and performance
- Learn new skills and share knowledge across the team
- Prioritize and delegate work effectively while monitoring the quality of delegated tasks
- Enhance the performance of junior team members and provide guidance
- Volunteer for additional responsibilities and seek development opportunities
- Ensure compliance with firm's risk policies and internal guidelines

3-5 years of experience in direct tax / Transfer Pricing
