About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager Talent Acquisition to lead end-to-end lateral hiring initiatives across functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong stakeholder management, sourcing expertise, and the ability to drive hiring strategies that align with business objectives. This role requires a balance of operational excellence and strategic thinking to ensure a seamless recruitment experience for both candidates and internal partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for mid to senior-level lateral hiring across business verticals.
  2. Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to understand workforce plans and design effective hiring strategies.
  3. Drive proactive sourcing through job portals, social media, employee referrals, networking, and market mapping.
  4. Oversee screening, shortlisting, interviewing, and offer management, ensuring an efficient and positive candidate experience.
  5. Track and report recruitment metrics time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and offer-to-join ratio.
  6. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to strengthen the talent pipeline.
  7. Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, data accuracy, and adherence to organizational standards.
  8. Contribute to employer branding initiatives, improving visibility and engagement across digital and offline channels.
  9. Mentor junior recruiters and contribute to continuous process improvement within the TA team.

Key Competencies & Skills:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in talent acquisition, primarily focused on lateral hiring.
  • Proven ability to manage mid to senior-level hiring in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in sourcing tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Indeed, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in using ATS and recruitment analytics.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA or PGDM in HR preferred.
