Assistant Manager Supply (Agrochemicals)
We're looking for a high-ownership Supply professional to build and scale our supply chain across sourcing, procurement, and inventory operations in a fast-growing agrochemicals business.
What We're Looking For
- 25 years of experience in Supply Chain / Procurement / Operations
- Background in agrochemicals, specialty chemicals, FMCG, or B2B commerce start-ups
- Strong experience in raw material sourcing and supplier management
- Proven track record of negotiation, cost optimization, and vendor development
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Execution-driven individual comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
What You'll Own
- Strategic Sourcing: Build and scale supplier networks, onboard vendors, and develop alternate sourcing pipelines
- Cost Optimization: Drive pricing negotiations, contracts, and payment terms
- Procurement Operations: Manage the end-to-end cycle (indent to PO to GRN to reconciliation) across SKUs and locations
- Inventory Management: Optimize multi-location inventory, improve turns, and reduce dead stock
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure supplier quality, maintain documentation (COA, MSDS), and audit readiness
- Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with Production, Sales, Finance, and R&D to ensure supply continuity
