Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager at Sugna Metals Limited located in Andhra Pradesh, India. The Assistant Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, support project planning, and manage team performance to achieve organizational goals. Key responsibilities include ensuring operational efficiency, supervising staff, monitoring production processes, liaising with stakeholders, and maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards. The role also involves analyzing workflow to identify areas for process improvement and collaborating on strategic initiatives with senior management.
Qualifications
- Strong operational management skills, including team supervision, workflow planning, and resource management.
- Experience with quality control, safety protocols, and compliance frameworks.
- Effective communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities to lead teams and interact with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of steel production processes, including rolling mills and induction furnaces, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in data analysis, problem-solving, and process optimization to enhance operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
