We are seeking a motivated and energetic Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to join our Business Development team at Wooden Street. The ASM will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in daily store operations, achieving sales targets, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and leading a team of store associates. You'll help ensure that the store runs efficiently while upholding the brand's service and visual standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in developing strategies to grow the customer base, increase footfall, and maximize store profitability.
- Assist in training, mentoring, and motivating the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Ensure exceptional customer service to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Handle store operations including inventory, compliance, and administrative tasks.
- Maintain the store's visual standards and overall cleanliness.
- Track buying patterns, customer needs, and sales trends to support business decisions.
- Share innovative ideas to improve customer engagement and boost revenue.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and recommend training plans for staff.
- Address customer complaints and internal issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Act as a role model for excellent customer service and professional conduct.
- Take over Store Manager duties in their absence and support overall store management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail operations, preferably as an Assistant Store Manager or Senior Sales Executive.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Customer-first approach with the ability to handle escalations gracefully.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Energetic, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
- Graduation in any stream preferred.
