Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to join our Business Development team at Wooden Street. The ASM will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in daily store operations, achieving sales targets, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and leading a team of store associates. You'll help ensure that the store runs efficiently while upholding the brand's service and visual standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in developing strategies to grow the customer base, increase footfall, and maximize store profitability.
  • Assist in training, mentoring, and motivating the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Handle store operations including inventory, compliance, and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain the store's visual standards and overall cleanliness.
  • Track buying patterns, customer needs, and sales trends to support business decisions.
  • Share innovative ideas to improve customer engagement and boost revenue.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and recommend training plans for staff.
  • Address customer complaints and internal issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Act as a role model for excellent customer service and professional conduct.
  • Take over Store Manager duties in their absence and support overall store management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail operations, preferably as an Assistant Store Manager or Senior Sales Executive.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Customer-first approach with the ability to handle escalations gracefully.
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Energetic, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Graduation in any stream preferred.
